Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 1, 2026
Bible Storyteller is built to be private by default. There is no account, no email, no password, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. You can use the app fully without giving us any personal information.
Who we are
Bible Storyteller is operated by Hundredfold Labs LLC ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what limited information the app handles and why.
What we do not collect
- We do not require an account, name, email address, or password.
- We do not show ads.
- We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
- We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or health data.
- We do not sell or share your information with data brokers.
- We do not build advertising profiles or track you across other apps or websites.
What the app does handle
To make features work, a small amount of data is stored on our servers:
Anonymous sync code. If you choose to sync your progress across devices, the app uses a random sync code that you generate. This code is not tied to your real identity - there is no name or email attached to it. Your listening progress and saved items are stored under that code so you can pick up where you left off. If you never set up sync, this stays on your device.
Scholar questions and custom episode requests. When you ask the Scholar a question or request a custom episode, the text you send is processed to generate a response or build the episode. Episode requests and related content are associated with your anonymous sync code, not your identity.
Optional feedback. If you send feedback through the app, your message is delivered to our team. The form includes an optional field for a name or email - this is only used if you want a reply, and it is entirely your choice whether to provide it.
Push notifications (optional). If you allow notifications, your device's push token is stored so we can tell you when a custom episode you requested is ready. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings, and the app works fully without them.
How this data is used
The limited data above is used only to make the app's features work - syncing your progress, answering your questions, building the episodes you request, delivering feedback you choose to send, and notifying you when content is ready. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or tracking.
Service providers
We use trusted infrastructure and AI providers to deliver the app (for example, hosting, audio generation, and language models). These providers process data only to perform their service for us and are not permitted to use it to track you or for their own advertising.
Data retention and deletion
Because there is no account, the simplest way to remove data stored on your device is to delete the app. To request deletion of any server-stored data associated with your anonymous sync code, contact us using the email below and include your sync code so we can locate it.
Children's privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
